About This Garage Door Install
When we arrived at the property, the first job was to remove the old garage door and check the frame. One of the 4 x 3 timber legs had rotted, so we replaced it to make sure the new door could be fixed securely and would operate smoothly.
Once the frame was solid again, we supplied and fitted a Hormann LPU 42 S-Panelled sectional door, finished in White and installed behind the timber frame. This style gives a clean and tidy look from the outside and helps maximise the opening for the customer.
The homeowner also wanted easier day-to-day access, so we added a Hormann Supramatic electric operator. It includes built-in Bluetooth and two handsets, giving them the option to open the door with a remote or from their phone.
The Result
With the frame repaired, the new door sits perfectly and runs smoothly. The White finish brightens up the front of the property, and the automated operator makes using the garage far more convenient.
