About This Project
For this impressive property in Godalming, we were commissioned to supply and fit four purpose-made Hormann LPU 42 L-Ribbed Planar Sectional Garage Doors. The homeowner wanted a sleek, contemporary look while still complementing the classic barn-like aesthetic. They were also keen to improve the convenience and insulation.
Because of the unusual size of the openings, each door was made to measure at 2590mm x 2205mm, ensuring a perfect fit within the existing structure. The doors were fitted behind the opening with the gorgeous oak ‘legs’, with 90mm cover profiles in matching Anthracite Grey for a seamless finish. This detail helps create clean sight lines and enhances the overall kerb appeal of the property.
To make everyday use effortless, each door was installed with a Hormann Supramatic electric operator, providing smooth, quiet automation. Every operator includes two black micro handsets and built-in Bluetooth connectivity as standard, allowing the homeowner to open or close their garage doors with ease—either via remote or smartphone control.
