We recently installed a pair of Garador Georgian retractable garage doors for a customer in Horsham. The doors were supplied in the standard size of 7’0 x 6’6 and finished in a sleek Anthracite Grey, providing a modern upgrade to the property’s exterior.
As part of the job, we removed the old garage doors and existing timber frames, replacing them with a new 3×3 softwood frame, which we finished in a clean White primer. This not only improved the visual appearance but also ensured a solid and durable foundation for the new doors.
These garage doors were fitted for manual operation, but one of the key advantages of retractable doors is their compatibility with electric operators. Should the customer choose to automate them in the future, they can easily be upgraded using Hormann Promatic or Supramatic systems.
