About this Front Door Install
For this job in Farnborough, we fitted a Hormann TPS Thermo46 front door, Style 025S, finished in Anthracite Grey. The door was made to 895 x 2010mm, so it suited the existing opening nicely.
The frame setup for this one was a bit different. The customer wanted the door to sit neatly within the space, so we used an A2 square frame and added a 25mm side extension on the hinged side to get everything lined up properly.
The door opens inwards, with the hinges on the right and the handle on the left when viewed from outside. They also chose the long external handle, which gives the front of the house a cleaner, more modern look.
The Result
Once everything was fitted, the entrance looked much sharper. The Anthracite colour stood out well against the property, and the added frame piece helped the door sit square and tidy. The homeowner was pleased with the update and how well the new door suited the space.
